Kitchen sink cookies are loaded with cookie add-ins. In these cookies you'll find pretzels, chocolate chips, coconut, pecans and butterscotch chips.
Ingredients
- ½ c butter, melted
- ½ c brown sugar
- ½ c cane sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 ¼ c + 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ c unsweetened coconut flakes
- ½ c pretzels, chopped
- ½ c pecans
- ¼ c butterscotch chips
- ¼ c milk chocolate chips
- ¼ c semi sweet chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Melt the butter in a large glass bowl. Using an electric mixer beat in the brown sugar and cane sugar for 1 minute. Add the vanilla extract and egg, beat for an additional 1 minute.
- In a separate bowl sift the all purpose flour, baking soda and salt. Mix this into the wet ingredients. Mix in the coconut flakes, chopped pretzels, chopped pecans, butterscotch chips, milk chocolate chips and semi sweet chocolate chips.
- Using a 1.5 tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop even amounts and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Use your hands to roll the cookie dough into balls.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the cookies sit on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
For "pretty cookies" remove the cookies from the oven after 8 minutes, press some add-ins into the tops of the cookies and bake an additional 2-3 minutes.
