Greek Chicken Kabob Orzo Bowls

Juicy marinated chicken breast on skewers, over a bowl of orzo.  Served with tzatziki, cucumbers, tomatoes and onion.

  • 1 lb chicken breast cubed
  • 1 container cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cucumber sliced and quartered
  • 1 c dry orzo
  • red onion sliced

chicken marinade

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and peppe


  • 1 container greek yogurt
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cucumber grated no seeds, water squeezed out
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


  • Add the cubed chicken to a bag with the 'chicken marinade' ingredients, refrigerate for two hours
  • Prepare the tzatziki ahead of time and let sit in the fridge until you are ready to eat
  • Cook the orzo per package ingredients, strain and set aside
  • Skewer the chicken and cook until no longer pink in the center
  • In a bowl add the cooked orzo, a couple chicken skewers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onion and tzatziki
  • Serve and enjoy!
