Cinnamon Apple Bread

This cinnamon apple bread is super moist and delicious. Each bite of this quick bread will having you saying, yummm! Filled with apples and cinnamon spice it's sure to be a fall baking favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c butter, melted
  • 3/4 c cane sugar
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c buttermilk
  • 2 c flour
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 7 oz chopped green apple, diced (1 large apple)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. In a large mixing bowl stir together the melted butter, cane sugar and brown sugar. Let this sit a few minutes to help dissolve the sugars. Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs. Once the eggs are completely incorporated, stir in the buttermilk.
  3. To this add the flour, kosher salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon. Stir everything together until almost combined. Stir in the chopped apples.
  4. Butter a one pound loaf pan and pour in the batter.
  5. Bake for 70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the very center (insert all the way to the bottom).
  6. Remove from the oven. Let sit for 30 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool and serve.

Notes

A 1lb loaf pan was used for this recipe.
